Weekending.

Good Times!

So good in fact that we barely took any pictures this weekend. Here's what we did manage to capture:

.
Check out the reflection for a glimpse of a seriously happy triangle of friends. Location: a NYC favorite, the Irish pub Ryan's Daughter on 85th and 1st. They don't serve food, but they do have a million delivery menus to choose from and they pull a mean beer. When you go, make a point to befriend the one man show, Mickey, behind the bar.

Someone's drunk!
I may be a bartender, but I rarely go out. Last night's impromptu dance party was such a treat! An incredible mix of old friends and new friends, his friends and my friends, we merged together in an effortless blend of fun and folly.

Stolen from Daisy's phone!

Our destination: White Rabbit on 1st and Houston on the Lower East Side is one of those great NYC finds.

In typical fashion it was basically a rectangular room lined with couches that appeared to just so happen to have a bar and a DJ in it. From open to close, everyone in the room was on their feet dancing their faces off. No stress. No drama. Just pure unadulterated fun. Go us!

And thankfully, there was a late night burger joint next door to fuel us.

Mandatory Sunday Brunch, or as Daisy and I like to call it Sunday Figure it out Day, was needed to fill in a few of the blanks and gave me an opportunity to pull out an old favorite - this vintage clutch in cream and navy blue canvas.

Adding to the spirit of Figure It Out Day, we marveled at what Hungover Jill deemed necessary to carry with her to brunch in this vintage handbag: A giant tube of suntan lotion, a yellow highlighter, a dried up pen and keys that may or may not open the front door of my apartment.

Happy Weekending, Everyone!
